Watch out for the foundation-funded outfits
The main problem with many
peace and social justice organizations today is that the Democrats have
found a way to control them through foundation funding.
Where do the foundations get their money? From the "philanthropists."
Who are the "philanthropists?" The parasitical Wall Street coupon clippers, the masters of war, the auto barons, etc.
We need to get back to building the grassroots and rank-and-file organizations which are funded by the members and supporters who are active participants in the struggles for peace, social and economic justice. Better to operate on a shoe-string and be able to organize real opposition to our Wall Street enemies than to have an organization staffed to the hilt with well-paid muddle-headed middle class intellectuals afraid to get involved in the real struggles of the people because they are afraid of losing their cushy, good-paying jobs.
The "philanthropists" who provide the money to the foundations aren't going to fund organizations that undermine their rotten capitalist system breeding dirty imperialist wars and racism from which they profit... this should be common sense.
Show me a foundation funded "peace and social justice" outfit and I will show you an organization whose responsibility it is to undermine the struggles for peace, social and economic justice while channeling people into the worthless Democratic Party.
