No peace; no votes.

I think it is a matter of how to achieve accountability. We are entitled to get something in return for our votes. This is so basic and elementary it should not even have to be stated but apparently it does.

The way to get accountability from the Democrats (or any other politicians) is to tell them:

No peace; no votes.

No real healthcare reform; no votes.

No jobs; no votes.

No moratorium on home foreclosures; no votes.

Now, look at these things individually or taken together; Obama and the Democrats could have achieved every one of these had they wanted to.

If my vote means I get nothing for it this means all this talk about democracy is a farce... one big fat farce just like Barack Obama who has turned out to be nothing but a health insurance salesman for Wall Street passing himself off as the President as he orchestrates these dirty wars.

At some point Enough is really Enough and it is up to the people to insist on accountability by the way they cast their ballots (or choose not to make the trip to the polls).

Wall Street has purchased themselves an entire stable of politicians--- some Democrats, some Republicans... none of whom will deviate from the profit line.

At this late date with the Elections upon us... I think we at least have the right to insist on peace by Election Day in return for our votes.

If I order a bunch of bumper stickers saying:

No peace; no vote

Who is going to help me pay for them and distribute them?
