The reason for the Democrats staggering defeat at the polls has but one cause:
Barack Obama and the Democrats failed to deliver peace and they saddled the American people with the "Health Insurance and Pharmaceutical Industry Bailout and Profit Maximization Act of 2010" instead of delivering a national public health care system which would have provided the American people with free health care and created ten-million new jobs... kick in a national public childcare system and you add another five-million new jobs.
The more Obama and the Democrats pushed reactionary thinking that private industry and small business through the "free market economy" would create jobs the more disillusioned working people became with the Democrats and if the truth be known, working people never were too thrilled with Obama or the Democrats they voted for them out of disdain for the Republicans... now what we have in this country is mass confusion and its likely going to remain this way until the working class gets re-oriented and gets actively engaged in the class struggle.
Liberal, progressive and left thinking is still the dominant thought pattern in the United States but there is no organized movement for these people to relate to.
I see where "leaders" of the CPUSA which should be bringing clear thinking to the working class is now blaming the Democratic Party defeat on another strawman: "left-wing kooks and crazies who didn’t vote" rather than providing any kind of comprehensive analysis of why this has taken place--- of course it might help if this CPUSA leadership could hold back their tears of joy still streaming down their faces over the election of Barack Obama to try and figure out what class Obama is working for.
