A new wave of repression is hitting…

It has been said that U.S. intelligence officials slipped something LSD into Paul Robeson's drink at an affair. A Provincial politician in Manitoba, Canada swears intelligence agents tried to poison him on a trip to the United States. We know, from the admissions of the heads of the FBI, CIA and NSA through the official government report titled, "Family Jewels" that numerous attempts have been made on the life of Fidel Castro using lethal poisons.
Come visit the Iron Range here in Minnesota and you will find very few people who don't believe that United States Senator Paul Wellstone wasn't murdered by the United States government on orders from Bush or Cheney.
FBI Director J.Edgar Hoover repeatedly uses terms like "neutralizing" people in COINTELPRO documents.
Right now Barack Obama has authorized U.S. intelligence services to kill American citizens.
So, would there be anything strange had the United States government been involved in the death of Jimi Hendrix? One can only say stranger things have happened.
But, most troubling of all; what does it say about the government of the United States that so many people would even believe their own government would have been involved in the death of Jimi Hendrix? I wouldn't say this represents the kind of opinion people living in the greatest bastion of democracy would have.

The way this government operates against the people is something else. Michigan Attorney General Frank Kelly stood right in front of Ingham County, Michigan Circuit Court Judge Thomas Brown and told him that I was "paranoid" for thinking that the FBI and Michigan State Police were tapping my telephone... fortunately Judge Brown had a fair disposition about him and he ordered Kelly to produce my "Red Squad File."
What Judge Brown saw in the file as he thumbed through thousands of pages made him blurt out in court, "Jesus Christ Frank, what did you do to this guy. Except for writing and saying a few things some people might not have wanted to hear he is a model citizen and you tapped his phone, opened his mail, harassed friends and relatives, got him fired from jobs..." Brown then went on to order Michigan's "Red Squads" disbanded on the grounds they were unconstitutional... but, only after the Attorney General was forced to divulge that they had spied on and harassed and maintained these kinds of "Red Squad files" on over 55,000 people.
So, if these governmental agencies will do this to a factory worker who writes a few letters to the editor there is no telling what they will do to people.
One thing to keep in mind is that it has been Democrats which have initiated repression in this country over and over again.
There was the Dies Committee (headed up by Democrat Martin Dies) which paved the way for the McCarran Act (Democrat Pat McCarran) which led to Joe McCarthy assisted by Robert Kennedy who got all the help they needed from Democrat Hubert H. Humphrey who was the primary author of the Communist Control Act. And now we have Obama beginning these witch hunts again.
The entire social, political and economic system is beginning to fall apart and the people in power are running scared because the majority of the people are just plain fed up so once again our Constitutional Rights are going to be trampled on by those going goose-stepping backwards in the footprints of these vicious reactionaries of the past.
